Hello, my name is Taylor Kennington, and I am a 2D animator. I grew up in Winnipeg, MB, and moved to Vancouver, BC in 2017 to study animation. I graduated from the 1 year “2D Animation” diploma course at SchoolCreative – Institute of The Arts in September of 2018. I then moved to Kelowna, BC to work at Yeti Farm Creative, on Hotel Transylvania – The Series: Season 2, and Pete The Cat: Season 2. For a year and a bit I worked remotely for Copernicus Studios, on Curious George: Season 15 & on a Pilot for a possible future series. Heading back to Vancouver, I spent some time at Bardel Entertainment, on Teen Titans Go!: Season 7, & Carol & the End of the World: Season 1. I later worked with Titmouse Inc on Frog and Toad: Season 1. I have since moved back home to Winnipeg & worked remotely on some pretty cool projects, including Everybody Still Hates Chris: Season 1 with Titmouse Inc again! I am currently looking for more opportunities to make awesome cartoons, and grow as an artist.

I am skilled in Adobe After Effects, Animate, Photoshop, and Premiere, Toonboom Harmony, as well as good old pen and paper. I have been trained to animate Classically (on paper), in addition to in Animate, and Harmony. I also dabble in acrylic painting, water colour painting, needle felting, sewing / embroidery, and sculpting.

I am a self-titled “movie enthusiast”, Halloween fanatic, with an extensive background in musical theatre, and an intense love for animals (especially my pup Dabber, and two kittens Smudge & Binx). I strive to make awesome animation and artwork, and to have fun doing it.
